daddys first kicks

Kris has officially felt the baby move for the first time!!

So we got back from going out on a date with my parents and my sister and hubbs saturday night,

it was about 2 o'clock in the morning

(way past my bed time)

i drank a glass of ice cold water, and stunggled myself in bed.

theeeenn i started to feel little mister move around ALOT.

Kris was in the living room watching motocross cause he wasnt tired (typical) and so i went and laid down beside him on the couch and told him to put his hand on my stomach and wait......

20 seconds go by and there was the first "pop" he felt!

he immediately started smiling.

he always hears me talk about him moving and he says awesome babe but he cant experience it..

so i was stoked!

we laid there with smiles on our faces for another 10 minutes just feeling him move around like crazy!!

20 weeks!!!

As of today, i am 20 weeks pregnant! HALF WAY through my pregnancy.

 

Im so happy to be out of the teens and into the twenties and it means closer to

december!
Im feeling the babe move everyday and just cant wait for Kris to feel him wiggle around. I can officially say im having those darn pregnancy cravings and here they are
-flaming hot cheetos
-monster energy drinks
-orange juice
-jelly bellys
So far thats my list. It seems so strange because i hardly ever crave any of those things!
Kris laughs at how much orange juice i go through and my late night sneek of jelly bellys.
My stomach seems like it is pushing out more and more.
this is what i see every time i get in my car!

As of lately...
We love to BBQ and use our smoker so we BBQ-ed like no other the other day!
smoked some brisket, beef ribs, and chicken!!

i also did some stuffed mushrooms!! super yummy

Kris's and a couple of his buddies all have little motorcycles and they love to ride on
a little track Branden made.
I just keep thinking to myself that our little boy will be just like his daddy in this
aspect=adriniline junkie!

3 vs 1

oh how true this is.

 

 

the past couple of days i have been thinking about my home and what its going to be like with

this prescious little boy added to our family.

I just am so overwelmed with love and excitment for this little guy you have no idea.

Our home will have a whole new kind of atmosphere and feeling to it that kris and i have never experienced and we are just so excited! we are so ready to start this family!

But another interesting thought came to mind... i will be out numbered.

Kris is super pumped about this because he grew up in a house with alot of women

so he is happy!

BUT the more i thought about it, the more and more happier i became.

The thought of a little Kristopher running around my house, pulling on diesels hair, making boy messes, playing in the mud, just being a BOY makes me so stinkin happy!

 

As of today i am 19 weeks!!

I have already come up with a plan of attack on this little tikes nursery and cant wait to start the

process!

IT'S A...BOY!!!!

IT'S A.......... BOY!!!!!!!

Kris and i are so excited to be having a son!

We had our ultrasound appointment on July 12th at 3:10!
the morning of...i was ExCiTeD! i sent this pic to kris!

The wait was unbearable.

The ONE time i wanted the dr office to running on time was the ONE time i had to wait 1 hour before being seen.

(lets just say fridays are jammed pack=never doing that again!)

This appointment i will never forget the emoitions and feelings Kris and i were feeling while waiting, not knowing if we will be having a son or daughter!
Also i wanted to verify everything was growing right, and so far healthy so that was a big worry for me!

We finally get to THE ROOM(ultrasound room)! My favorite room EVER! I was just so excited to see my little munchkin again and say hi!

As soon as the tech placed the tool on my tummy i saw the profile/head right away! Me being me, and over excited, i immediatly say "LOOK THERE IS OUR BABY!" (i said alot of obvious statements lol)

I think i was holding Kris's hand so tight it was sweating because i was so excited.

So the tech says she is gonna do some measurments first then we will look for the gender! So she is measuring, and measuring, and everything is looking great! We got to see the heart have 4 chambers and pumping away! so cool. Got to see the blood flow around the bladder, the spine, the brain, the toes/feet, the hands everything! heart beat was 143!

Our little munchkin was sitting criss cross apple sauce so she had to jiggle my abdomin a little....THEN i saw it!!! i immediatly said, "Thats a penis!!!!!!!"

The tech laughed and said well his heel is covering up a little so lets try to get a better view.

She then said the words "That is 100% a BOY!" as she paused the screen and put the arrow pointing to his little peepee!

A flood of emotions came over me as i realized we were going to have a SON. i started bawling, as im on the table. I look over to Kris and he is tearing up, red eyes and all! I will never forget that moment for the rest of my life.

Watching him move all around my uterus was unreal! He had done a complete 360 from when we started to when we ended. The tech said "this little guy has better things to do then pose for us" lol... loved the tech!

I can officially say what i thought was "gas" was him moving all along, and all weekend i have been feeling him move FOR SURE!!

So finally 2 hours later, we make our way home.

We made plans with our parents earlier that week that we were going to come over to their house with the gender reveal!

Both moms were telling us to hurry because they couldnt wait! So we finished frosting the cupcakes, and here we have it!

California/Camping/Pregnancy

Okay so lets just say that since i have found out I'm pregnant nothing has really changed in the aspect of non stop busy busy with my lover. lol It seems like so much recently has happened ON TOP of being pregnant, but I'm loving it. So prepare yourself for a long post!

California

About 3 weeks ago kris and i went to California with his family. It was so much fun! His family originally went there for Grants traveling football game, then of course we fit in some fun time!

Camping

This last weekend, Kris and i went camping with my family for the 4th of July!!! we camped for 5 days!! so much fun!

Talk about a much needed get away! They valley is about 110 degrees and the high the whole weekend was about 75 degrees!!

Day 1

Kris went for a cast, and half his pole went out to the middle of the lake as well! haha

Day 4-Bow shoot out

Every year there is a bow shoot out that you can go to at Sunrise Ski resort, where you bring your bow and targets are set up in the pines and you shoot em!!

Update on PREGNANCY!

As of today i am 18 weeks!! Im a new person! No more misery, fatigue, whirling mood swings out of no where! I still have my days where i will have a hard time with smells or eating but for the most part im doing awesome! I find myself smiling for majority of the day knowing a little peanut is growing inside me. Now since this is my first babe, I don't know what the first movements should feel like. BUT i swear i felt this babe move for the first time today. It almost felt like a "pop" or a bubble bursting. Im always feeling like there is gas down there but everyone says that is the baby! So i don't know!

This pregnancy is just getting better, and I'm so happy.

Now for the really exciting news.......

tomorrow we get to find out if we are going to have a little miss or little mister!!!!!!!

I just cant wait to see him/her on that screen again, hear the heart beat, get the measurements and make sure everything is growing good!!!

Its been 13 weeks since we have seen him/her so we are pretty excited!

Everyone asks me and kris what we want and we honestly reply with either boy or girl as long as he/she is healthy!
