Christmas 2011 seems like it was just a whirl-wind! haha
We were so busy this christmas season and pre-occupied with other things, but it honestly
turned out to be such a awesome Christmas!
It was the first time sharing this Christmas season/Traditions with my new Family(McClendons), and also Kris got to experience the Townsend's Traditions also!
Sooo.. lets gett started. haha
Townsend tradition is to open all presents except 1 on Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas Day, we open our 1 present, Santa's Gift, and our Stocking! Which it really works out
perfect because Kris's family does it the opposite way.
So we headed over to my parents house on Christmas Eve, and of course we had to bring our little guy.
Kris went ahead and let him swim in my parents pool for the first time. haha he did great.
Andrew was ready to get in and go swimming with "cute puppie". So he stripped down!

So Cody and Ty rocked it this year and by far won for the Best Outfits for Christmas.

We had a yummy dinner.

So every year we all so what is called Polar Dip.
We all jump in my parents pool. On Christmas eve. Yes. that is crazy.
haha this year Cody sported a HOTTTT outfit! hahaha
it ended up bein only my brother Cody, my dad, and my brother in law Kris.
We made ReAl snow! okay it was actually a pouch that was powder and then you add water and it turns into this cold an wet.. just like snow!
Ally loved it.
We then had a Gingerbread Contest! Last year i won. So i knew we had to step it up.

Christmas day we went over to Kris's Family house... at 6am! haha His brother and Sisters couldnt wait they were so excited but who can blame them!
Opened presents then had Breakfast. it is the McClendon tradition to eat Abelskevers.
The YUMMIEST tasting things ever.

We then played a little.
Cuttie Lola in her cute Christmas outfit.
We then made our way over to Kris's Grandmas house in Phoenix.
They have a tradition of doing more like gag gifts every year.
It was hilarious.
Wendy's Brother Chuck and his wife had a precious baby! Kris holding baby Riley!

We then headed home to relax and make some homemade popcorn, with out new
popcorn maker thanks to Wendy and Kent!
Not only were we exhausted from the busy weekend, so was Diesel.
It was an amazing Christmas season. im so grateful to have such an a amazing family.
i love them all so very much.
It was fun to share all these fun and special memories with my Husband.
Diesel update--
He is now 10 weeks.
He is fully house/potty trained.
He fetches. He drops the ball.
He sits. And his newest trick is he can shake!

Kris gave him his 2nd set of shots.
I think he will be a great hunting dog. He AlReAdY watches the hunting channel with Kris.
They watched a whole episode together.
He loves his dad. they wear eachtoher out.
He loves to drive with Kris! haha
