past couple weeks{random long post}

So we have been doing a lot of random things lately so here is what the mcclendons have been up to!

first off---ryder crawling!

so ever since ryder has learned how to crawl boy oh boy has my life changed!! he.is.everywhere!!!

NON STOP ALL DAY!

this video was taken 2 weeks ago when he was just getting the hang of it...now he is a speed demon.

he is always getting "stuck" and i have to come rescue him haha cause all he does is cry

this was the first outfit papa bought him..he finally fits into it! so cute!

i just love this!!!! talking to grandma!

we went to my sisters house the other day for a family BBQ and ryder loved hangin with his cousins! oh and max, my sisters yorkie! haha

LAKE TRIPS

so we have been on a couple lake trips... we went with one of my good friends heather and her hubby an little girl who is only 2 months older than ryder

kris told me to just put ryder in the lake with his normal diaper on instead of his swimming diaper and let me tell you there is a reason they make swimming diapers haha look at that sag

our little ones were on the same nap schedule haha

this last weekend we went to roosevelt lake with my parents

i love seeing my dad love on my son

haha he had a good grip on my dads chest hair

so since it has been deathly hot here in the valley kris and i decided to escape the heat and take a spontaneous trip to flagstaff for some cooler weather. it was just a overnighter but we sure loved it.

it was ryders first time in a hotel and he couldn't get enough of it for some reason haha

we spent about an hour in the pool all to ourselves

we went out to a nice steakhouse..the food was bomb

short trip but much needed!

Our first family photoshoot{ryder 6 months old}

So i wanted to get pictures taken of us as a family when Ryder turned 6 months old!

i absolutely LOVE them. they turned out better than i ever hoped for! thanks to Wendy my mother in law!! Ryder did so good and was just the best baby for the camera!

here are some of my favorites! 

i love my family.

ryder is 7 months old

our little man cub is 7 months old!

-he is crawling

-he is going from all 4's/tummy to sitting position

-he pulls himself up on everything 

-he wears some 6-9 months and some 3-6 month 

-eats 5 ounces every 3 hours

-wears size 3 diapers

-eats baby food twice a day-he still chooses when he wants to eat a bunch and eat barely any but he usually eats a little of whatever we eat as long as its mush...he loves frys and mashed potatoes.

-is a happy boy most all of the time

-had his first camp out{mormon lake} and trip to Prescott
-slept 8 hours straight for the first time ever last night
-still obsessed with water
-gives you the most whole hearted smiles especially right when he wakes up

happy 3 years to us/ryder is crawling{7.10.14}

Happy 3rd anniversary to us!! Kris and i have been married 3 wonderful years and together for 7 years! I couldn't have lucked out more with my main man. he is seriously the best and works so hard for our little family. im so lucky i get to spend everyday with my little boy and its all because of my hubby!! he makes me laugh at least 5 times a day, puts up with my craziness, is the glue to our little family.

Our Ryder is CRAWLING!!!!!!!!!!!!

this past week he has learned how to go from all 4's/tummy to the sitting position.

he has also learned how to pull himself up on just about everything he can get his little hands on!

and now... on 7.10.14 he did his first crawl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
