Our Ry Bug is 18 months old now! a year and a half!!
Let me tell you a little bit about this little man of ours. There are some days where i wanna cry and just take a time out myself because he continues to pull out my pots and pans and then proceed to throw them at Diesel and die laughing because he thinks it hilarious, or he chucks his watermelon at my head or he decides he wants to take of his diaper for the 60th time and pee on my carpet. he defiantly continues to keep me on my pregnant toes. but then there are days where he will just silently walk up to me holding his blanket, hold his arms up at me and smack his lips wanting a kiss from his mama. MELTS my heart. I have learned so much from this little man and also he has taught me so much about myself. for example, we went out to Native New Yorker for some wings last night and this child+restaurant=no bueno. he just wants to go! not sit and eat. how boring right? well anyways he decided he wanted to dip every one of his chubby little fingers in the every ranch on the table and lick it off. i let him for a while because a little ranch isn't harmless. well next thing i know i hear Kris say, "Really Ryder?" i look up to see ranch smothered on Kris's face. haha Ryder decided to dip his french fry in ranch and share it with Kris without Kris knowing. i just laugh and i can see kris be like "REALLY"? haha 5 minutes later he is wanting to flirt with the girls behind us by trying to reach for their hair/head, then he wanted to play with pizza scooper thingy by attempting to throw it at us. Im telling you all this because all the while i just kinda laughed it off as in whatever, he is a toddler. this is what toddlers do. Kris was way past done and wanted to get out of there asap but i can tell my patience has grown 20 times with this little man as it was before.
his little personality is bursting right now. he still is obsessed with dirt bikes. he still is as energetic as ever, doesnt want to stop. ever. loves balls, cars, trucks, animals, anything with a motor. he is in love with fruit right now just like his mama. he can eat a whole container of raspberries by himself. still obsessed with his hero, his daddy. also with diesel as well.
i took him into his 18 month checkup today and he weighs 22.02 lbs and is 32 inches tall. i knew he was growing for sure because he can now reach our doorknobs and sneak his way into our room/bathroom.

SIDE NOTE: ryder got to meet his Aunt Alanah for the FIRST time as she returned home from her mission! he took to her just like she was Summer or Kaitlyn.
