ryder turns one month old

As on January 14th, Ryder turned one month old!!!

it is just so crazy how fast time goes!

he is the most active, alert, strong, full of expressions newborn for being just one month!

we sure do love him!

at his one month appointment he weighed 9 lbs 6 oz and is now 20 inches long!

he is becoming quite the chunky monkey! lol

so lots and lots have happened since Ryder has been home. it has been about 3 1/2 weeks and he is just my favorite. get ready for a post FULL of pictures!!!
{yes i have like 2,000 pics on my phone of just Ryder haha}
we took him to his 5 day appointment to our pediatrician
{don't mind my exhausted looking face.. i guess that is what going from getting 8-10 hours of sleep to just 2-3 hours lol he is only 7 days old here}

and at that appointment he weighed 6"15, so up 3 ounces from when we left the hospital!!

we also took him on the January 2nd 2014 for another check up appointment and he weighed
8 pounds 2 ounces!!! so in just 2 weeks he gained basically 1 pound!!

he is so good at the doctors office!!

he is serious about his eating! that's for sure! he is just so darn cute and I just stare at him while he sleeps because he has so many facial expressions!!

he had his first REAL bath when he turned 2 weeks! he absolutely LOVED it! could have stayed in it all day long!

Christmas eve we went for his first road trip to Globe to go see Kris's grandparents!! he did so good even with all the elevation changes and all!

we got to celebrate Christmas!!! i didn't take hardly any pics but here are a few!
this year instead of doing our 11 foot tree my dad brought over one of his little 4 foot trees and we used that! it was perfect!

we stopped by Kris's families house to do a few presents!

we weren't able to go to my parents house to see everyone due to my nieces and nephews being sick but that didn't stop my parents from coming out and see us and loving on Ryder!!
