Ryder is going to be a B I G brother!!!

We are expecting BABY McClendon #2 this October!!!!!!

we are so so so thrilled!

We always agreed we wanted our kids close in age so we want them all about 2 years apart. 

So here we are, going down this exciting journey again! 

i found out when i was only like 4 1/2 weeks, since we were trying to get pregnant i was keeping close eye on my body so when i thought Maybe i could be i took the test! Kris spotted the pregnancy test in my bag and was all "could you be?" and i told him i don't know maybe so he picked up Ryder and said "ok ryder lets go see if your going to be a big brother!" haha so there we were, as a family, waiting in our bathroom to see what it said....

here was the results! {yes i had to take two}

We honestly couldn't believe it because it only took use the one month of actually trying and we thought it might take a couple! So we were surprised but in a good, warm fuzzy feeling way! haha

A few days later was Valentines day, so i of course had to include a little something as a gift to him because after all another child is a gift so i bought a little shirt{for ryder to wear}

 FIRST TRIMESTER

ok so it truly is amazing how much you forget all about the sickness you endure when your pregnant, because all of it is so worth it to have a child! Anyways, needless to say i was a little nervous about the first trimester because i was like deathly sick with Ryder for the first 5 months.

sure enough, the sickness started at 8 weeks! the exact same week i started feeling it with ryder.

the food aversions, the constant nausea, the smell of really ANYTHING food related sent me running to the closest toilet or trash can. This time i had a little cheer leader though laughing at me every single time i was throwing up/dry heaving and then HE would try to mimic me! haha thanks ryder for always making me laugh! Week 9 came and scheduled my first doctors appointment so i can get some of that heavenly Zofran. a few days later they had me go in for the first ultrasound to see our little gummy bear.

heart beat was 156 and my due date was right on!

So the rest of my first trimester continues with sickness and funny embarrassing stories relating to that and i wont bore you with those! haha
