So last week I was allll alone again thanks to hunting season.
So naturally... I craft.
lol I have been slacking big time with our little ones room. mainly because once we painted it I have been waiting on my lovely husband to pick up some trim to finish the walls. so we are still in the process. BUT I had bought a fabulous dresser a while back at a yard sale so I decided it was time to get to work on it.
let me tell ya... having to sand down the dresser for about 2 hours, then painting process started which took allllll day! I had to paint and re-paint it 4 times, all the cracks and curves, then take out all the drawers and paint those=what a pain.
all this while it was 107 outside in the shade in our garage was not a good idea.
good news though, its done!!!

On top of that i also sewed my babes curtains for his room!! I'm so happy his room is slowly coming together!! i will post more pics of the room later!!
September 18th was my sweet hubbys birthday! he turned 24!!! He of course was gone hunting.
So i bombarded him with pictures so he knew he was missed on his birthday from afar!!
This pictures cracks me up. i wanted to send him a family pic so this was my attempt! lol
Diesel just stared at me like "really mom?? we have to do this?? so lame!"

Kristopher ended up coming home from hunting after 7 days of being gone and got in at about 6am in the morning just so he can make it to my doctors appointment i had on Thursday 19th at 11am. love him.
Before my doctors appointment I had him open up my gifts I got him.
There is a story behind the 2 pictures below. So Diesel has now chewed up 2 of Kris's nice leather fox wallets from tillys..not one wallet but 2!! So... naturally.. kris refused to buy another and so as a joke I gave him my hunting orange holder that contained my hunting license just to tie him over till he makes his way to buy a new one! He actually ended up loving it cuz it was so thin and easy and used it for about a month!!!
so I got him a couple spares.
then I had to get him a good one!

But on top of that I planned a little birthday get together that night as well for him with mine and his family.We kept it simple with pizza cake/cupcakes and ice cream and of course.... PING PONG TOURNAMENT!

UPDATE ON PREGNANCY
So this last appointment (28 weeks appointment) had a lot going on unlike my boring follow up appointments
1) I had to do the glucose test. the drink itself didn't taste as bad as everyone made it seem but wow was I hit with light-headedness. s.u.g.a.r rush! the room was spinning. lol Then to top it off, a holding hands, smile from my hubby, pinch from the needle and 4 viles later they drew my blood to get it sent off to labs!
2) We got to have our Growth Ultrasound! This is what Kris cut his hunt short for and..... this little guy did NOT want to cooperate!! He had his hands in front of his face the entire 45 minutes!! The tech tried having me lay on my left side...then my right... and nothing! He was also hiding under my belly button so it made it even tougher to get his measurments! BUT the doc said he is still measuring on for 12/13/13.
3) My appointments got moved to every 2 weeks now instead of 3!! getting closer
4) I had to have the cherry topping to this appointment and get pricked with another needle to get the Rhogam shot. ouch.
Needless to say we got to wrap up this awkward/painful appointment with lunch at Moreno's!

ReplyDeleteSO cute Sara! I'm so glad you're just a few weeks ahead of me, Liam and Ryder are going to get along I think :) PS After seeing what Kris got for his birthday, I'm convinced Kris and Chad would get along pretty well too! haha! birds of a feather for SURE!
