animal love.

So im not quite sure whats going on but there is alot of animal loving around here in the McClendon home. Lets begin with the past 2 weeks. We watched my Brother Chad's dog, Bear for him while he was working out of town. Diesel l.o.v.e.d him at our house. They played non stop. He just wanted to keep playing with him non-stop since he doesn't have a full-time friend. It was super cute.

 he was sad when he went home.
love this.

Now this week has been a different situation. On monday i walk in the door and Kris says hi to me by saying "look what i found in the backyard". Usually this means that Diesel has chewed up something valuable and im gonna cry inside. To my surprise... he shows me to the fornt door where a CAT is laying down. Of course this stray cat looks like its on deaths door way because of how bad it was malnourished.  So kris had already put water out for her and i of course being the all animals are welcomed in my home kind of girl, i whip out a can of tuna. She DOWNS the whole can. I felt so awful for this cat. but had i known that by doing that would result in her not leaving our house for a week!!! haha So this cat just is the sweetest girl. We gave her a bath and she just purred loving it. haha So i called about 8 animal shelters and they were all full. i post it on facebook.. no one wants her. emailed my family. nothing. So it was the second night and Diesel kept barking all night because the cat kept meowing outside. Well... 3 am hit and i wake up to me petting a purring cat...IN OUR BED.. in between me and kris, and it didnt dawn on me for about 5 minutes that i was petting this cat. so i get up and wake kris and ask him why he let the cat in and he said he "what cat!!" haha The cat had gone threw our doggie door and just made itself at home. haha So it has been another week and periodically it makes its way in our house. {which totally wigs me out since who knows where that cat has been.}
This is her.
Diesel and her basically became friends.
Long story not so short... we found her a home. fingers crossed.
haha
