So i have to say that one of the most satisfying, awesome things Kris and I have

done is buy a house.

There is just something about a "home" that we lOvE.

We have lived here now for about 4 months and we are loving it.
Great neighborhood, Great house.

We are pretty new to this whole home/house owner thing, and

are learning a few things.

For example, a house makes wayyyyy more noises than an apartment.

I cant tell you how many times i wake up in the middle of the night and start to freak out cause
i think someone is in our house and it is just our water heater or Sparkletts machien or Diesel dreaming. haha 

Kris thinks he married a crazy lady because im so paranoid.

Another thing we are learning about it WEEDS.

Man o man are they a pain in the butt.

So this past month we have been working on getting all weeds killed or pulled and

make our lawn come back to life.

We are spending lots of time at Home Depot and the Nursery

right by our house. Who knew there was so much to know about a lawn?
Im not sure how my parents did it to be honest. They had 40 acres,
and Kris and i have a tiny itty bitty piece of grass. haha

My next project is to plant flowers and new palm trees in the little ledge
on the back wall of our yard.

i have to say it is looking pretty good now.

I know its pretty lame to be posting about our yard, but we have
worked so hard to get it too look awesome.  We still have a little patch to work on
 but we are almost there.

Also, this last weekend we installed a 10 ft RV gate instead of our little 5 ft gate!
Now we can put our trailer back there!
This is another one of our projects. We arent finished with it yet, we are going to change out
the wood and stain it.
So excited.

Especially at our age.
