The McClendons: ITS OFFICIAL....

ITS OFFICIAL.... In one week.....

Kris and i will be moving into our FIRST HOUSE!!

Thats right!!

We will be homeowners!!!

This is super big news. We are so stoked that this has all worked out!

So... there is a reason i have been keeping this EXCITING news a secret untill now.

I looked into buying a house about 8 months ago, fell in lOvE with the house, put in a offer, the bank accepted it. Everything was going great.... untill ONE week before the closing date! The underwriter had found something wrong with the paperwork.. long story short... we didn't get the house!

So.. i was traumatized from that event. So when we began House hunting again the past few months, we didn't tell anyone!! haha not even my parents! i was scared i was gonna jinx it again and i didn't want to get "attached again" and then for some stupid reason not get the house.

So we waited untill...NOW... to tell everyone that we got a house!!! haha

We started looking in October.. put in a offer on the 20th, they countered, we accepted! Thhhennn it went to underwriting.. now this is when i got really nervous! haha and everything came out just fine!!

Our loan is approved and underwritten!

So... next step is to go to Title and sign. Then we get the keyyysssss!!!! whoooo hooooo!!

We get the keys on the 21st of this month! We could not be more excited!

This house is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home! It sits on one of the largest lots in the subdivision!

Which is perfect for us. It is so cute. And its in Queen Creek!

The thing that Kris is most excited about is he will have a BIG garage to do work in and have all of his tools in there-random i know... you would think it would be the fact that we are buying a HOUSE! haha

One of the best things about this house, is it is the same subdivision as my Brother and Sister-in-law Cody and Ty, and RIGHT next to my other Brother Chads house!!

Ty and i have already talked about buying golf carts together so we can just hop in the golf cart to each-others house- not to mention all the yard saleing we will be doing!!

So in all this great news... i do have to admit that i will miss our apartment.

It was our first "home".. and it has been so good to us. it is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. so cute!

I will miss it.

Our garage that we had to pay an extra 75 bucks for a month-buuutt kris insisted he needed it for his toys!!! thats right we didn't even sue it for my car or his truck. it was used for our quad and Sammy! hahah I wont miss having to pay for a garage! haha

I will NOT miss these stairs either. Hauling groceries up these things.. not to mention MOVING was a nightmare. Luckily we were only on the second floor.
