The McClendons

So this past week has been another busy one. Surprise Surprise.

1) Cody and Ty walked(Yes i ment walked.. they live so close now its walking distance haha) over to our house for a visit.
Tatum and Tripp loved playing with Diesel.

i just love her butt crack.

So we kinda forgot to check up on Tripp and Diesel for a while.. when we found them.. they were just chilling together.. Tripp was throwing rocks and Diesel just laying beside him!

i swear they talk to eachother. haha

2) DIESEL UPDATE--Well as of 2 days ago... Diesel is officially potty/ house Trained and fetches! YES.. 9 weeks old and that smart!
BUUUUTTT let me tell you. We cant wait to keep him outside all the time while we are gone at work. the weather needs to start shining again.
i came home from work one day an this is what i saw...i wanted to sit on the floor and cry.

So he knew i was upset. frustrated. but i knew leaving him while i went to work only time would tell untill this happened. but this is what i came home to the next day. And Remember... before this time he NeVeR pooped on the pee pad. haha Such a good boy.

i love it when he falls asleep on my lap.

I love weekends JUST cause we can actually play with him in our bed!

He is LOVING his house now.

and he got a new bed. haha

3) Weather has been amazing. i love it when it rains in AZ. it basically floods everything and make it green.

4) We got our FIRST christmas package from a neighbor in our neighborhood! i love being a home owner. i was so freaking excited. i have been trying to be-friend my neighbors since we moved in.

Everyone is so quiet and kinda to themselves. Now i have an excuse to go door to door with a plate of goodies and meet them!

5) Townsend Christmas Ornament Exchange--

So my family has this tradition of doing a Christmas Ornament Exchange every year and we had it last night!
i.. of course.. had to make some goodies.

Last year's exchange was so fun.

But before i get into that.. Kris had decided to give a little to my family, so he got every family their own gift.

.....it was a Mexican Candle.

haha So random.

So Kris and i got these white Dove's that had like a 1 foot tail with a clippie by the feet for you to clip onto the tree for last years Exchange. haha

It was a major hit cause we were like the only ones to bring a "gag" ornament.

Well we knew going into it this year it would have to be pretty good to beat it.

So... we searched.. and searched.. and searched.

Finally we found it.. or should i say them.

haha

I thought it would be funny to get a baby bird.. as if the Doves from last year had a baby!
ugly.

Kris found this hideous ballerina that had hot glue all over its face.

Then he also found a cha-cha-cha-chia pet head that we poked a 12 gage shell in with a bow on top! haha

6) 8 days before Christmas and we are just now getting around to doing a little Christmas shopping.
Kris and i are kinda cheating this year and buying our presents with each other since it is all stuff for our
house!
i should have known Kris would have gotten side-tracked with something.......

his new toy. haha

Well im sure in a few weeks i will have a ton more to update you on.
we are staying super busy still and just livin' life!
I cant wait for a day to just have nothing to do but relax.. but until then we will be having a very exciting-eventful-busy next few weeks!

So... This Christmas has been a little like Thanksgiving. You could say that between buying a house.. Moving.. Buying a dog... Christmas this year has been put on the back burner! Which is shocking because anyone who knows me knows I'm STOKED about Christmas!

So. We weren't planning on buying really anything or doing anything like decorating, and just buy stuff for the house for Christmas! Well as of yesterday.. That was the plan. Haha

My parents have a 11 foot Christmas tree that they put out front of their house last year... And well... My dad was convinced that we are gonna have it in our house since we have the prefect spot for it with out vaulted ceilings! Well he called me the day before last.. Asking me what time i want him to come over to set up the tree? haha as if that was already the plan!Well at that point i was still on the fence!!Haha

Tttthhhheeeennnn he comes by my work with this!

You better believe he wasn't taking no for a answer! Haha

Hahaha that was it for me! He was coming over! He convinced me! I'm SOOOOOOO happy he convinced me because I LOVE our tree! Now I wanna go and spend a lot of money on Christmas decor! Haha here is when we started to set it up...
