Excited.

Kris and i promised each other when we got married that we would travel. We both LOVE to travel. 

So we told each other NO MATTER WHAT, we would take a big vacation once a year. 

Well....2012 is due and we will be going on another exotic cruise here in a little bit.

We did a 7 day Cruise for our Honeymoon.

This one is 8 days, and we will be going to some Virgin Islands and other amazing places.
Yes. This is one of the places we will be going! St Thomas!

Im pretty sure I'm more excited than he his at this point. To the point of me having a bad dream last night about us not making it on time to board the ship, and missing the cruise then next thing i know I'm crying at the port. all by myself. haha

Anyways... here are the top 10 things I'm most excited about.

1) My toes will be in contact with white sandy beaches for 8 days.

2) I get to basically have a week long slumber party with my best friend.

{on our honeymoon we were always up till like 3am walking the ship, going to the ships events, ect.}

3) Going to the airport. i love airports. i could sit and just watch the people there all day long and wonder and guess what their agenda is. i love flying also.

4) The ships ahhhhhmazing Pina Coladas. Yum.

5) Exploring some of the amazing wonders of the world.

{we have some fun excursions to do when we port at the islands}

6) My parents are coming with us!! This will be my parents first time out of the U.S(besides Mexico and Canada) My parents are so fun and my mom and i call or text each other everyday reminding one or the other of something to bring. haha My mom called me 3 days ago, crying cause she was laughing so hard and all she said was "i can't wait for this cruise, we are going to have so much fun. i had a blonde moment and all i could think about was how i wished you were with me to laugh with me."

7) 24/7 Endless Supply of Ice Cream!!!!

{On our Honeymoon, Kris would wake up from a dead sleep at 2am and go up and get a ice cream and come back with 2 cones in his hand just for him. hahaha love him.}

8) Snorkeling in the amazing crystal clear blue waters.

9) making memories.

10) Spending time with my husband and family away from bills, work, life for 8 days and not having a care in the world. beautiful thing.

Easter Weekend.

Easter this year was so cute!

This time last year, kris proposed to me so this year marked 1 year from when he popped the question!!

{love his face haha}

So we headed over to my parents house for a yummy dinner and egg hunt!

I always make something fun to take over their so this is what i made this year!

We decided to take Diesel with us which means this was his 1st time in the back of our truck. 

He already jumped out of our Sammy so i was super nervous he was gonna leap out of the truck.

He is so cute. We rolled down our back window and 

this was him the whole ride. just chillin.

So the egg hiding began...

Annnddd then we set the kids loose... ha

They were so cute!!!!

We then headed over to Kris's parents house to hang out with then for a couple hours.

Kris's mom got me and Kris this cute basket of goodies. :]

 Diesel at the end of the night was exhausted from playing with all the doggies.

Love surprises.

My sister and i had planned a surprise for our Husbands for simply being

amazing.

We bought tickets to the Lucas Oil Off Road Race!

Kris has always wanted to do something like Baja 1000 where they race the pre-runner trucks.

Well this is something simular, they race on a track.

It was by far the funnest motor event i have ever been to.

There were so many close calls, flips, wrecks, trucks jumping on other trucks. haha

 It was AwEsOmE.

We got to see so many awesome trucks/vehicles.

I so want my future kids to do this. These kids were 10 years old and just rippin' up the track.

Brian Deegan's Truck.

You cant really tell in this picture, but we got sooo sunburnt. haha We didnt think we would because it

was only 75 degrees that day, but oh we got fryed.

We also got to see Jeremy McGrath race.

This race was by far the most excited. Brian Deegan was battling it out with this guy for first.

The last jump he went for it. Brian gave it his all to get 1st and he had it for 2 seconds,

untill the guy basically jumped over him. haha

it was so cool.

I was perfectly lined up to be on TV! haha

 After the race, he parked his truck right in front of me and Kris and got out and chit-chatted with everyone and then went and got his Trophy! So cool!

Proposal.

One year ago from today Kris asked me to marry him!

 i love thinking back on it.

Here is the story-

Easter weekend 2011 we went out to Box Canyon camping with my family and his family.

Friday night we got there, upacked and unloaded.

He right away wanted to take me for a ride.. alone.

So we went for a drive, a long drive.

Side note ***Box Canyon is a speacial place for us because that is where we would always go with our friends in high school and hang out, and that is something we always did when we started

dating, go out riding quads and what not.

Nothing happend, just went for a ride. ha

{i later found out that he had the ring in his pocket the whole time and was going to propose but thought of something better.}

So then Saturday afternoon came along and he told me he was worn out and wanted to go home.

Me, being me, cant stand being away from him, so i decided to go home as well.
We talked about what we were gonna do that night and decided to go on a date.
Now, about this time i was in the middle of buying a house. I figured that i wanted buy a house
when the economy was right. We loved driving by the house and checking it out and planning basically where we are gonna put what where. haha {dorks i know}
So he wanted to go to the house before our date, and start measuring where the couch is going ect.
{we got the code to be able to go inside. rebels.}
We were there for about 30 minutes and decided that it was time to go, so Kris said for me to go ahead and go to the car and he will make sure all lights are off.
Im in the car for about 5 minutes and i dont see Kris anywhere.
All of a sudden he comes running out the door, saying "Sara, Come look at this!"
Anyone who knows me i lOvE the little things that make things awesome.
Kris told me that there was a part of the fridge that i didnt see that was super awesome.
So i come running in to see it and open the door,
and there i see sitting on the top shelf,
My ring, open and sparkling!

{i didn't take a picture of the ring in the fridge, but i did take a picture of the fridge! haha}
I immediatly start crying because Im so happy. haha
Then i look at Kris and he is already down on one knee.
So between the shock, surprise, me bawling my eyes out, i dont remember much as to what his speech was, except "I love you more than you know, and want to spend the rest of my life with you" and "Sara, will you marry me?"
Kris wont admit it but he got a little teary-eyed himself.
I didn't get too many pictures{totally regret that} but i did get this one a few minutes afterwards.

{he let me wear the wedding band for a day with the engagement ring :)}
We then shared the news with all of our family, and come to find out Kris took his whole family to go buy the ring. i thought that was so cute. They knew all along.
Another side note***a year before he asked me to marry him, we went and looked at rings, and i picked the one he bought me. You know when you know. haha


The next day was Easter!

{it says "Im engaged"! haha}

Besides the day of our wedding, this day was one of the best days of my life.
We are so in love, and have an amazing marriage.
Im so glad to have such an amazing husband.
9 months and going strong.
