easter weekend/rice cereal/2nd lake trip

so this easter was a fun one! first off earlier in the week we got his first picture taken with the easter bunny!

that saturday we went out to the desert for the first time... he loved it. he couldn't see anything because the sun was so bright but he would hear us and he would still smile! lol

 we got to go to both parents house and chill but before we went i gave ryder his easter basket!

2 milestones

1. feet are now in mouth

2. first taste of rice cereal

he smacked his lips the whole time he was eating the cereal! it was so cute!!

the other day i had this boy naked and there is nothing better than a happy naked baby

also apparently ryder HATES the kissing sound. i couldn't help but test this out a couple times to see if he really does hate this sound and sure enough every time he broke out in tears.

we took our second lake trip this weekend.. it was cold but still fun!!

ryder is 4 months old {plus other misc}

Ryder is 4 months old!
im pretty sure this kid is going to give me a run for my money. he is becoming the most active little boy!!

(i like to call these the many faces of ryder)

his latest thing is pursing his lips...boy do i love it!!!

he reaches for everything now... he loves reaching for his toys and moms hair/face!!

this boy is now up at the crack of dawn every morning and this is how he wakes up....happy and ready to play!!

i just love his laugh!!

we went out to the cheesecake factory and ryder loved it mainly for all the mirrors!!

i finally finished ryders newborn shadow box!

we went to bass pro for the first time!!

he is already starting early on breaking toys!

developments

-rolls over ALLLLL the time non stop. i put him on his back then he rolls over immediately

-he is sleeping 4-6 hours a night

-he is grabbing for toys which also includes moms hair/face to inspect it

-now when im doing something he will reach or look at what im doing

- he smiles alll the time

-he loves to jump around in his new jumperoo

-he watches my every move

-he now will sometimes cry when i leave the room
-he still loves the bumbo

-he is happiest on his tummy.. spends most of his time on his stomach with head up high

-he drinks 3oz every 2 1/2-3 hours

-wears size 1 diapers

at his 4 month appointment he was:

weight: 14 lbs 5oz (32 percentile)

height: 23.5 inches (4 percentile)

head:17 inches (92 percentile)
the doctor was so happy to see him a healthy growing boy! 
poor guy got his shots! man i hate those!! this time he ran a low grade fever. :(

he got to see the Easter Bunny for thew first time!!

when ever kris drives i love to sit in the back seat with this guy because this is what i see peeking at me the whole time.

side note--as of a day ago, i have officially been thrown up on multiple times by this poor guy. the doctor said it is a stomach bug and wasn't a side effect to the shots so for now im just giving him looottss of love. saddest thing seeing him sick, but i was still able to get smiles from him!!
