first camping trip in our hauler.

This last weekend kris and i went camping with my family!

This trip was different than past trips because this was our first time camping in 

OUR HAULER!

It was so much fun!

The first night it was just my parents and kris and i.

We set up camp then watched a movie!

The next day we got our bows and guns out to do some target shooting!
Kris decided to start with my bow! haha its so small for him!

love my parents! they are soooo cute.

needless to say.... my mom is now getting into bows!

So we finally went out for a ride!

 boys will be boys.

they were buddies.

So that night we had the best cook out.
talk about dutch oven yumminess

My mom made the best baked beans.

My sister made home-made scones and BBQ-ed chicken!

Kris and i made hambergers!

To finish up Kris and i made our first dutch oven dish which was
Cherry Cobbler!

It was such a fun weekend!!!!
i didn't take a ton of pics of the fam but next time!!

snow day :]

it snowed today in MESA AZ!

Yes i said it... it snowed!! i know what your thinking....whhhaaa???

but it sure did! it turned into slush but it snowed.

So Kris and i took a trip up to Four Peaks about 45 minutes from our house right after work with our

Diesel boy!

Diesel had never been in snow and boy was it funny watching him go crazy.

he couldn't get enough of it!!!  he ran...and ran...ran some more...ran... ate some snow since he was thirsty...then ran some more!!

growing up... :]

Well Kris and i are for sure growing up.

We just bought a Toy Hauler!

When we started dating in high school we talked about how 

when we get older we want a toy hauler and now we have one!

for those who dont know what a toy hauler is it is a RV that has your normal beds, bathroom, shower, kitchen,couches BUT the back comes down and your couches and beds come/fold up so you can roll whatever toys you have inside! For us it is our quad. So that way you can haul all your stuff in one thing rather than another trailer!

So here she is!!!

So we did some re-vamping to the hauler this whole past week!!!!

diesel loves it!

1st trip to Lowes= to get some test tile to see what new tile we wanted to go with!

2nd trip to Lowes= committing to the new tile

tiling begins!!

So who knew tile was such a mess! i had pieces of tile glued all over my pants!

Done with the tile! now to begin with cocking the edges!

So while Kris began the tiling i began repainting the appliances!! 

We bought appliance epoxy and went to town on them!!!
